Husse Poland sponsored Lapland Expedition 2010

Husse Poland has sponsored a polish expedition to Lapland which last from 17th of March to 2nd of April 2010. There were 3 sleds with 20 dogs, breeds: Alaskan Husky, Siberian Husky and Gronlandshund.
Dogs and their guide Maciej Slominski went through more than 500 km. They have finished their journey in North Finland.
Maciej Słomiński is one of the most well-known polish long-distance mashers. Since 1997 he has taken part in many long-distance winter races and expedition in Poland and abroad. He is legitimate sled dog coach. In 2000 Maciej won the race along the polish seaside. In January 2010, as the first Pole, he took part in legendary Haute Maurienne Trophy Race which is the part of La Grande Odyssee – the world biggest long-distance race.
Husse delivered dry food for expedition; it was food with high energy content - Optimal Energi suitable for sled dogs.
